Our newly refurbished Church is situated in the centre of the busy village, with good access and facilities for the elderly and disabled. Our aim is to work and worship within our village and community so that we have a small but lively congregation.
We are renowned for our warm welcome for all who come to visit us be it for worship on Sunday or one of our many groups that use the facilities during the week.
The church is located in the centre of the village, close to the Village Hall, and several shops, which offer a wide range of products, from bakery, to general DIY products. There is a Health Centre, Library, retained Fire Station, Police Station and village junior school and High School (11-18yrs) acting as a Community Centre.
The worship area is flexible, the congregation offers a coffee morning each weekend and a recent refurbishment of a smaller room provides a meeting space or quite area for discussion. All facilities at this church are on the ground floor and easily accessed. A “church” brownie pack meets weekly.
There are strong ecumenical links between all of the churches in the village, including Anglicans, Baptists, and Roman Catholics.
Groups and Organisations:
- Coffee morning every Saturday 10am-12pm. Come and join us for a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.
- Ladies Fellowship fortnightly on Tuesdays at 2pm
- Four Square Group on first and third Thursday evening of the month
- Prayer Meeting monthly as arranged
There are many other meetings held at our building by community groups such as the brownies, community care, pencil art, weightwatchers, art group, bead group, relaxation class, pilates and exercise class and the craft group.
The building can be booked for meetings, children’s parties, etc.
