10.15am - Morning Worship - everyone welcome
We have a variety of styles of worship led by our Ministers or Lay Preachers.
We have a new, comfortable Worship Area, for all, with a good audio/visual system.
There is also an attractive place, within the Worship Area, where children, their parents/carers can enjoy worshipping together.
Coffee/Tea/Squash is served after the service enabling everyone to socialise.
We also occasionally have a more informal meeting for fellowship and food on Sunday afternoons at 4.00 pm instead of an evening service. This would be advertised in advance.
Although we have few children, morning worship includes a time for them, before they leave for their own time of learning.
Occasional alternative evening services are arranged with speakers from charities or other social organisations
We seek to show God's love to our community and the world in our witness, service and giving.
We help the Church family to grow their relationship with God and others and to grow in faith through worship and learning.
In our worship, we seek to be welcoming and accessible, we worship in a variety of styles and with other Churches in the community.
We serve our community through opening our premises, through our pastoral care and our commitment to be involved in local and wider issues and projects.
We seek to care for the environment and be good stewards of the earth's resources.
We seek to share God's love in words and action.
The present Barrow upon Soar Methodist Church was built in 1911 and occupies a central position in this rapidly growing village. Our congregation is spiritually strong and very supportive toward each other and to members of the community. We have completed a major project to make our premises more multi-purpose and user friendly as we look to the future. We work closely with the other village churches through Barrow upon Soar Churches Together. As well as services on Sundays we have many groups who meet within our building. Everyone receives a warm welcome whether they are a new worshipper or occasional visitor.

Meet 4th Saturday of every month at 2.00 pm in the Coffee Lounge
FUN @ CHURCH
Meet on 4th Wednesday 3.15-4.30pm; a time for children and parent/carers to enjoy together. Games, Craft, Snacks – there is no charge, however donations are welcome.
LADIES CIRCLE
Meet on alternate Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm in the Coffee Lounge
NEW HORIZONS – A group for those who are bereaved
Meet on 1st Monday of every month at 2.00 pm in the Coffee Lounge
MEN’S SUPPER GROUP
Meets every 3rd Tuesday at 7.30 pm in the Coffee Lounge
